what wild life posies the most danger?

Balut, that takes me back. Could not get past the smell. Love the chicken feet, chewy. Monkey balls in Thailand O.K., BAMEBA 33 O.K., ZPUs, fireworks and red smoke put knots in my stomach.

Good Lord, yes.

'Goofy Grape' and 'cherry red' smoke ... and I hide in the corner on the 4th of July unless I'm setting off the bangs. Funny how smells and sounds can mess up your stomach.

I am OK with everything except on site burning vehicle w/ fatalities

something about burning rubber and, well it just makes the stomach do the mambo

for a minute and then I could get on with what ever I had to do.

I do not like quiet when I am in the yard or woods when everything gets quiet I tense up.

like I am waiting all hell to break loose..

You are correct, Snake. There is silence and then there is SILENCE! I really like quiet, love to go to a monastery for a 'silent retreat'. Out in the woods, where there is the 'silence of nature', the normal background sounds are very, very soothing, even comforting.

When I learned to fly helicopters, I learned that it isn't the noise that is the problem. It is the change in noise. When the background noise changes be curious and cautious. When it goes completely away, be very, very concerned and VERY, VERY CAUTIOUS.

Remember the first survival rule for pilots.

"There are old pilots and there are bold pilots but there are NO old, bold pilots!"

Just the not so humble opinion of an OLD pilot.
