Need some advice

Recommended Posts

You didn't mention type. But if you are looking for sheer volume,Walmart sells 100rd. packs of Winchester,Federal and I think Remmington 7,7.5 and 8 shot 12ga. for around $23 each. I have shot a lot of this stuff with no problems.

Hard to beat Chinamart on volume purchases, especially if you are not looking for some specialty rounds. Even with the recent price increases, Wal-Mart is still a bit cheaper on whatever they stock, and all of the above mentioned sellers are reputable, even if your shotgun prefers one over another.

Funny, ammo is just about the only reliable thing WalMart sells consistently.

Have you considered reloading? I don't do it but I have heard that shotgun shells are relatively straight forward to reload and much cheaper.

A little late, but take this link femvet59. Click on what you'd like, it'll give you

the specs. 000, 00, slugs or on whatever you're looking for. I've used this

site several times but found it a little more comforting to just go out and

pay cash for ammo when deals are findable.

thanks, guys. I would like to buy at least 500 rounds and don't want to arouse suspicion at my local Walmart. Don't forget, I live in Ca and people here are pretty paranoid when it comes to this topic. I'd rather eat the shipping cost and keep my (grey) head down.

Don't forget you leave a trail that way too ,MikeE has a good idea, or you could just make multiple trips like I did. i also had my kids buy a pack every so often.

I just pay cash and get a couple of boxes and go to another store and again and again

cash is the best way to keep under the radar and only 2 boxes at a time or a 250 pack

that they have now buying one of those dose not raise eyebrows.

500 what you practicing on the weekend I can smoke 500 in an afternoon LOL

better really bulk up and have at least 4 extra mags I love my Bianchi mag pouch

holds 4 double stack mags and a drop pouch so you do not loose them.

also the Bianchi military holsters can be found used and have a cleaning rod

and are ambidextrous.

I also like their web belts hell everything I own is bianchi if they make it and I have a use for it

I need to buy some 12 ga in volume, but I'm not up on prices or reliable vendors.

Would appreciate your suggestions.

Also try this site: Ammoengine.com they list prices from all dealers from the cheapest to the most expensive for any type of ammunition. You may be supprised.
