Watching the news (really should avoid that)  but they are using Ketamine as an antisuicide medication and the user says it keeps her from committing suicide DUH and chronic pain does not make a person suicidal ?  I have friends that have had multiple surgeries to stop chronic pain some with no success or limited success.

I for one feel the AMA and the FDA use less than scientific methods and allow certain doctors much more leeway to function everything can be addictive there are people who are addicted to eating laundry soap some people cut themselves or body dismorphia.

IMHO it is reasonable to suspect a person is overusing medication when request for refills mount or their blood test show higher amounts than normal so we have controls I guess using an ID to track will help.

Better living through chemistry I believe in it not as abuse of a drug but use to control pain and allow people to have a life, Ketamine if it is useful use it I do not see a problem with pot for people with life threatening diseases I do think as other drugs we cannot totally trust doctors because some will prescribe without care just for the money and there need to be limitations on operating vehicles people need relief but do not need to endanger others IMHO.

I know that "super K" is used as a powerful tool to medicate violent people suffering from certain overdoses. I also know that in my past law enforcement career in California, (not the golden triangle-much farther south), I never arrested any driver on a DUI for cannabis ingestion alone. Not a single one in 27 years, they could still pass a field sobriety test.

I have a fundamental problem with allowing the knarcotrafficante cartels being allowed to import marijuana into the Estados Unidos to fund their violence, and corruption of Mexico even further. I say we legalize marijuana, tax it like alcohol and tobacco, if, for nothing else, to put a huge dent in the cartels largest money maker.

And no, I'm not a liberal California freak, I consider myself politically right of Attila the Hun on most things.

I fully support medical marijuana and cannabis oil uses for those who need it, it is far better than the usual opioids addictions that most people with chronic pain now suffer from, thanks to those handy dandy prescriptions.

If people choose drugs then they should not be allowed a license be responsible or have a job that requires you to have the life of anyone else in your hands like a operator of equipment health care professional pilot etc. So people can be a happy doped up ditch digger that walks or takes the bus to work.
