Their are 2 members in my shooting club that own a Desert Eagle .

One in 357 & the other in 50 A&E ( Action Express )

Ive shot them both several times. They were a blast to shoot.

Really liked the 50 A&E . Not for the recoil friendly that's for sure.

The owner of the 50 said to me at one time that he put 20 grains of powder into one loaded cartridge that he Hand loaded.

If you ask me 20 grains of powder, that's a Shotgun load.

If I ever decided to buy a Desert Eagle, the 50 cal would be the ticket.

The 50 cal DE is nicely suited to the design of the firearm if you ask me,  the 44 & 357 magnum not so much so. I've shot all 3 calibers at one time. JMHO .

I've shot the .44 and .50AE and they are fun and as my dad says if you run out of ammo (....money....) you can surely beat them to death with one....and who in their right mind will make you prove it is loaded in the first place....

Yeah, I love T-grips! They're on almost all my Smiths.

I actually don't mind the Mag-Na-Porting on that .44 Magnum. It does help with muzzle flip. Though it's definitely louder!

210, the 5" barrel on a S&W 28 or 27 has always been my dream DA revolver.  Long enough for accuracy and velocity and short enough not to be unwieldy.

Hope you can get the pictures to work, I'd love to see'em, specially the 686

Maybe someone can post them for me, if I send them the pictures by email. The 686 is nothing special, just a non-fluited cylinder with fingergroved wooden grips by S&W.
