Are Ruger Mini-14's flying off the shelves as well? And what would they fetch for a near mint one used. In Canada both the AR's & Mini-14's are very hard to get these days, new or used. Same goes for magazines as well. Like i've said earlyer i plan on selling my AR, in fact i plan on selling all my .223 rifles & ammo. Our group has changed plans as to what's going to be our primary firearm. Everything going to be in 30 cal of sorts, 7.62X39 , 7.62X51 , 7.62X54 , & 338LM .

We have 18 AR's & 20 Mini-14's going up for sale. The AR's are restricted in Canada & require paper work. We are not willing to shipp. One needs to see them , pay for them & pick them up in person, face to face. So if your in the Toronto GTA area i'm sure we could work something out.

We got alot of 7.62X39 & 7.62X51 couple afew weeks ago. Crates full, though surplus ammo. We feel it was good to switch over. Better knock down power, for the cost. Ever cheaper than the cost of a single factory .223 round. About 0.14 cents per 7.62X39 round & about 0.34 cents per 7.62X51 round. Sure they weigh more to carry around than .233 but performance of X39 & 51 wins out.

Mags, everybody want's them around here. They would go with a blink of an eye. Yesterday we did a recount as to what were selling & 5 of the AR's were keeping, they are AR-10's in 308cal, so they not on the sell list. That means we have 13 AR-15 for sale instead.

Based on the last 3 gun shows I've gone too they are $1200 and up..................heavy on the up side...........

Are these prices based on used AR-15's or new Ruger mini-14's.

Makes sense to me, that is a heck of a deal on ammo. I'd probably have done the same. I still use 223 due to price and range but if I found 7.62x51 for that price I'd have to get an AR-10 or two to go with it. My area is open enough I like a flatter trajectory than the 7.62x39 for alot of situations.

We'll be using 7.62x39 for CQB & out to 300 yards, which is good enough. The 7.62X51 out to 800 yards with the AR-10's. We do have afew 30 to 34 inch barrel bolt action rifles to reach out to 1,200 yards if need. But the 338 LM is better suited at this range.

The only place here that had them 30 days ago when I looked was Academy or Dicks. 899 bucks with tow 30 round magazines. S&W M&P Model.

Some dealers had always had the S&W with the factory added MagPul sights, grips, forend, butstock, etc.. they were 1,200 with up to 4 MagPul magazines but they are "not availible" and I think the dealers are hoarding.

Probably 2,000 and up for a used decent gun and most people here are not selling $hit.

Luckily i had mine ahead of time with plenty of mags and ammo.

I'm sure you Amaricans would have alot more firearms at your disposal, something like 10 to 1 comparing to Canada. Heck the poulation of all of Canada is the size of Califonia in it self. LOL.

Its kind of odd...... Probably 75% of country owns a gun (60% admit it or allowed).

And probably 30-40% has over 10 fire arms each.

In the deep south its more like 90% have a gun and over half have more than 10!

You may not have more population than California but I'd bet a chunk of change you guys have more GUNS! I really would hate to live on the 'LEFT' coast.

Toy guns maybe, but the real ones. I highly dought it. I'd say 50-60% of the population don't own a single firearm in Knuckland/Great White North.
