t2940 13 Report post Posted February 28, 2013 Thermal imaging is really cool. I have experience in the surveillance cam world but not in the stand alone types. What did you find................that was affordable?
P210SIG 782 Report post Posted February 28, 2013 Thermal imaging is really cool. What did you find................that was affordable? Nothing so far. See afew in the $3,000 range, that are handheld. The one's that i really want are in the $18,000 range. Hugh money if you asking me. Draw backs is they use CR-123 batterys & last only 5 hours. I'd prefer a unit to use AA or a single 9 volt battery. Going to wait a while for the prices to come down before i take the plunge for one. Holding my breath. LOL . In GOD I Trust, Everyone else keep your hands where I can see them!
