Warning To American Gun Owners From Canadian News Anchor

Recommended Posts

That's right my fellow Americans, Do not register any of your firearms! At one time the canadian goverment was charging $25 to legal gun owners to register every firearm that they registered. Now the Canadian is charging $65 for a firearms licence that needs to be renewed every 5 years. It's a tax grab.

I would also like to remind all readers that the Founding Fathers Placed "Keep and Bear Arms" as the SECOND item in the.....BILL OF RIGHTS! its not a Bill of Nice to Have's its a subject that the founders declared as Inalienable, meaning that its universally accepted that all men who ARE created equal... Shall NOT have thier gun rights "Infringed". I am concerned because Biden recently mentioned the "mainstream media" all agree, that there needs to be drastic changes. My proposal is that the "mainstream media" stop tugging at the heart strings of every cry baby who claims that guns are evil, What about the Man or Woman or even Child wielding the gun, maybe they are the "evil" aspect of a gun tragedy. I was sympathetic to the parents of the 15 YO girl who was shot to death i a park in Chicago, what decent person would not feel something. If the Pres wants to get it right, dont punish the MANY, for the errant ways of a very few.

If anyone watched the State of the Union Speech tonight, you may have noticed the comment "its worth a vote" was a direct front to Americans who have the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

I chose not to watch and take part in his socialist rhetoric. I think that's a stupid remark for him to make - an emotional jab to foster unity and impart a sense of involvement by voters, lol. Stupid.

People are ignorant. I watched Bill O'Reilly the other night. He recommended registering all firearms and federalizing all firearms crimes. I'm ok with the latter but obviously not the former. Important part: Dave asked Bill why anyone would need something like a AR-15. Bill said, if you're a rancher along the Mexican border you've got to have it to protect yourself from narcotics traffickers. To summarize, Dave was ignorant that such violent atrocities are happening along the border and that they do spill over the wire to the U.S. particularly onto the private property of American citizens. Bill explained. Dave questioned saying, if that's true wouldn't someone in the government know that? Bill's reply, they don't care, they don't want to solve the problem. That was a plus one for Bill, but he did say that he doubted anyone on Long Island would need such a rifle. Again, who the crap cares about need? It's a right, a want, and by God I'm going to own one or as many as I choose.

Again, I say put the army on the border to backup the border patrol and be done with it by whatever means necessary, but that's just my opinion.

Maybe, just maybe the vote the president called for wouldn't be a bad thing. There is also a chance it would be a very bad thing.

Say the vote is called for and all the democrat senators or house members from "red" states vote for the gun control and it still doesn't pass. The next round of elections for congress these people will have angered the majority of the gun owners in their districts, republicans will replace many of them, and the president's power to accomplish anything will be weakened. It has happened before over the same issue. If the vote is called for and defeated it would likely quiet the issue for a time and things would return to as close to normal as they will get with the current president. The alternative is that some of it may pass, particularly the background checks that could equal national gun registry, and things would go the opposite direction. Bottom line is that this battle will be fought again someday, just a question of when. If our national debt continues to add up at the current rate our current president will have doubled the national debt by the end of this term over what he started with, or be somewhere close to that figure. I definitely don't want any more gun control but I also don't want to see the country fail or our children inherit that kind of debt.

Just wanted to throw that out. A vote scares the hell out of me, but good could come from it depending on the outcome.
