Need suggestions on what manual flour grinder to buy

Recommended Posts

This is one of those you get what you pay for sort of things. I have a dirt cheap mill and though it does do what I bought it for it is a long way from well made or good for long term use. I crack corn with it for the chickens but lord I would hate to try and make flour with it! Since I don't live where wheat is an option and corn is my leanings are more in that direction. I hope to add a better mill this year and this one is near the top of the list.

Here's another option. I won't say they are better or worse but friends have 1 of the mills from here and love it.

Rod, that's a decent looking mill and looks smaller and easier to store than the Pleasant Hill ones. They have the Country Living mill.

Pleasant Hill sells a few different makes and models, along with several other kitchen tools.
