Oh sure, and they have links for thatching, saddle making, an several other pdf documents. I am so in trouble with this site...lol. Glad I have an empty 8GB thumb drive or at least it was when I started. Several good manuals for prepping here, especially for one who appreciates the historical ways as I do.

LOL.. yeah, I need to get one. I have a platoon of thumb drives.

Maybe but don't forget the all the eggs in one basket moral. I have a decent sized external drive but I often fear corruption will cause it's loss. Yeah 2 is 1 but priorities are key and money resources are only spendable once, dammit, no matter how I try otherwise.

this is a great site!! i especially like the saddle making link. it covers the basic tools and techniques for saddle making. however, it only concerns english saddles. if push came to shove, i know the skills could be transferable to western saddles but there are some differences between the two that i would want to know thoroughly before i trusted my life to a homemade saddle. english saddles have their place but western saddles and especially harnesses would ultimately prove more useful. wud u happen to know where a free download for western saddle making or harness making making might be found? (i think this if off topic....oops :D)

The link for part 2 is broken.

I can try and PM it to you tomorrow Von. I downloaded it before and have it on a thumb drive. Hopefully it isn't too large for the pm system or I'll try and get it to you another way.
