Regulator5 11 Report post Posted November 9, 2012 the un small arms treaty was put back on the table just hours after obama was declared the winner as well. If they want the US to become like europe, they should move there.
excoastie 12 Report post Posted November 9, 2012 Well, well, well… it looks like the bipartisan Democrats are now attacking our 2nd Amendment Rights on two fronts. President Obama has opened the book on the UN treaty destroying our right and now, so is Dianne Feinstein. Is this what bipartisanship looks like? There is a world-wide effort to end the legal ownership of every firearm by every Amerikan citizen. The UN treaty will be passed by the Socialist in Chief and He will expect that the lemming-like Amerikan citizens willingly surrender their firearms and their Constitutional Rights. Bipartisanship… what an utter crock of liberal excrement.

oregonchick 10 Report post Posted November 9, 2012 The resolution was intended to pass prior to the election, but the vote was delayed due to Hurricane Sandy. What the UN is doing is what the UN does, and is not at the request of the President. From the Reuters article on the UN treaty: An official at the U.S. mission said Washington's objectives have not changed. "We seek a treaty that contributes to international security by fighting illicit arms trafficking and proliferation, protects the sovereign right of states to conduct legitimate arms trade, and meets the concerns that we have been articulating throughout," the official said. "We will not accept any treaty that infringes on the constitutional rights of our citizens to bear arms," he said. U.S. officials have acknowledged privately that the treaty under discussion would have no effect on domestic gun sales and ownership because it would apply only to exports. As far as Feinstein goes, it's not like she's ever hidden her agenda when it comes to guns. And she'll still have to get it past the House, which is Republican controlled, in addition to getting her entire party behind her - which may not actually be possible given that some of them come from states where hunting is a favored pastime. Regulator5 11 Report post Posted November 10, 2012 OC, I don't trust either organization (un or fed gov't) to tell us the truth. The treaty have been brought to the table several times and the first times they said it would effect private ownership. I'd have to be allowed to read the full manifesto before I would not think of it as a threat. It canNOT be another, "vote for it then you can read it", scam. Capt Bart 113 Report post Posted November 10, 2012 Bump to cover spam about ladies' handbags. Not that it isn't fascinating... Ladies handbags can be very interesting when they have concealed carry pockets. Unfortunately the spam isn't for that kind of purse:(
oregonchick 10 Report post Posted November 14, 2012 Great idea, Autonomous. There are a bunch of prepper women on Pinterest, and one of them posted a link to this hoodie that is basically ALL pockets, like it's a BOB without being a bag at all: http://weliveforweapons.com/post.php?p_id=198 I've thought that learning quilting and knitting would be useful, too. wardog513 10 Report post Posted November 14, 2012 If you really believe that the current admin will not use the UN gun ban treaty to further their own gun ban agenda then i have some peak mountain property for sale in the everglades. these people are smart and learned from that buffoon clinton back in the 90s. they will not come right out and attack the 2nd amendment but they will make it gradually harder and harder to own them. and feinstein needs to stay in her screwed up state of CA and go down with the rest of that sinking ship. just remember when it comes the UN the road to hell is paved with good intentions
Malcolm 10 Report post Posted November 17, 2012 Senator Feinstein has LONG held a coveted California concealed weapons permit, that she got from her San Francisco Police Chief, whom she first hired when she was then Mayor of SF. Unfortunately, she doesn't "think" normal people in her city or state deserve the same rights she demands for herself. As a US Senator and as Mayor, she had full time law enforcement protective details' the average citizen cannot have. how, she and her extremely wealthy husband live full time in Napa County, while "maintaining" a "residence" in San Francisco. Feinstein, is and always has been one of the privileged elites that so many of her supporters rail against. She is just another Washington phony.

Regulator5 11 Report post Posted November 17, 2012 Reg..I'm with you brother, I'm with you. I believe most here feel the same way. It may not be enough but it sure gives us a good start and I'd take these folks over all the DC crowd; at least we have a backbone, ethics, morals, and callouses.
