Every person known about the importance of the water.Water has own importance in our life. We should be drink the waterin more quantity because it is the best way for the weight loss and fat loss.Water keep protect from the different diseases and giving good energy and fitness...

Coffee has a few benefits as well. moderation is the key. When shtf and all those monster/mountain dew drinking kids start to go cold turkey from their caffeine dependency its going to be bad for them. The results are almost flu like. Just what you need when you have a front seat to teotwawki.

 

I carry a few extra pounds but it has not impacted my endurance. I guess in a shtf event the weight will drop in time.

Oh Lord, don't I know it. I used to drink 4-5 sodas a day. Then I finally smartened up, and stopped cold turkey. Talk about twitchy, and irritable. I never felt sick really, but I felt under the weather, and tired. And seriously jonsin for like a week and a half. Had the shakes, and seriously no patience (REALLY not good in my line of work). Was terrible.

I'm a serious tea drinker, and it's all I drink - black tea w/sweetener. On those rare instances when I've had to do without (Seventh Day Adventist hospital), the headaches were unbelievable. Guess I need to start thinking about this one.

Twice a year I do a 10 day Herbal Detox Wild Rose and I am off coffee . I grit my teeth and know I will have

a 3 day headache but its worth it. I feel the benefit of fasting off anything you take regularly is good for your body.

It takes me a couple months to get back up to drinking two cups of coffee a day sometimes even three.

As long as we do these things educated and decide to pay the price and not whine about it.

I have done several different types of fasts over the years. 10 Master cleanse is probably the most widely known.

You fast on distilled water that is mixed with fresh lemon juice, cayenne pepper and #2 grade of maple syrup. Reason for #2 is that it is high in minerals versus the number 1.

With this type of fast though I really believe you should get checked out by a Doc first.

The other types of fasts are liquid fasts on broths, juices etc. Have to really educate yourself first before starting any type of fast. Figure out what your goal is . Is your goal to detox? Lose weight? Or break your eating habits.

All valid reasons to fast but most people don't do the work I think is required before starting a fast.

Get a checkup by your Naturopath *your Doc may have more conservative views on alternative health*

If your Naturopath gives the okay discuss with him her your goals and which type of fast would be suitable.

Water is the need of our body and we can't live without it. It has million of benefits and we can't describe its benefits.We should drink maximum water as we can. I think 10 to 15 glass of water is good to drink.

So how much fluid does the average, healthy adult living in a temperate climate need? The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake (AI) for men is roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day. The AI for women is 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.

    • I can imagine food prices going up this Fall or Winter. Corn is used for live stock feed, & us humans consume a lot of corn based products, as well as corn based biofuel. I’ve been keeping a watchful eye on the mid-west of America, which is flooded by water. Where corn  & other crops are normally grown there. Farmers are quite worried about this years growing season. Time to stock up on extra food if you can, if you haven’t already. Stack it high, stack it deep. Store the foods that you normally eat. What ever the  amount of food you’ve stored,  try to double it if possible. Better extra safe, than sorry.
