New Mossberg 930 SPX 12ga

Recommended Posts

Hey all.

So i picked up my new Mossberg 930 SPX 12ga shotgun last week and finally got a chance to shoot it yesterday, and i must say the thing shoots LIKE A DREAM. So much fun to shoot, and accurate at the distances it was shot at (7 and 14 yds) only put about 35 rounds through it, about 5 different types of ammo. More shooting is required but so far so good! recoil is great, being my first shotgun, i thought it would be much more. reading the reviews i've seen online about all the problems it has, i've come to the conclusion that the problems were rampant in the first version of the weapon (canted sights, feeding issues, loose rail/sights, etc) but have since dissipated with the second and third versions. seems to be a great gun, especially for about half the price of other semi-autos. and EASY to take apart and clean! Also, me and rayz couldn't decide whether or not the sling with 15 shells in it weighs more or less than the weapon itself. (leading to a debate about the shells in the sling being necissary...

(contrary to these reviews, my mossberg came stock with both front and back sling attachments)
