Spent 20 bucks in gas trying to find some 35 Remington and 40 s&w.

If you pay shipping and reimburse me, theres a bit of .40 at my local gun shop. probably fairly over priced though....

Also, i ordered 4 more Pmags. Up to 8 Pmags and 1 USGI steel mag now... Dropped my AR off at the gunsmith the other day to have the front sight assembled, and i think im finally getting through to the girlfriend, she offered to buy me a bucket of dehydrated food for my birthday :)

glad to hear you got some STUFF

Kountry Boy

got to thinking and looked it up damn......... making your own from other brass is not a plan shows using 303 brit or 30-40 krag

and you need a small bench lathe or a very adapted drill to make 35 remington.

for some reason I was thinking 358 winchester now that is better but still expanding a 308 win to 358 is a multi step

operation if you don't want crunched brass.

wish you luck finding some.

Picked up 25lbs to tomatos for $5 at a supermarket today, what a deal. I diced them all up & started boiling them, then i'll be jaring them to be used in the future.

Had an old cheap gun safe I bought in college that I wasn't using anymore, won a nice safe at a banquet later. Anyway, I moved the old one from the garage to the basement and made it into an ammo locker. Need to get some concrete anchors to really get it solid but I got it attached to the wall for now. Figure if someone breaks in they might get it torn away from the wall, but they will have fun trying to haul it up the stairs with the weight in it. Even if they are stout enough, I'm not sure the stairs are. This way I also have my reserve ammo separate from my practice ammo so I won't dip into the reserve without knowing it.

Kinda like investing in gold or silver these days with the price of ammo going up...........................

Worked on sharpening one of my armour steel knives today. Sure took a long time to get it the way i like it. Almost 5 hours. Hopefully it will be a long time for it to get dull.

making up 100 rounds of each 0, 00 000 #4 buck and 1 ounce slugs it cost about 150 dollars for all the

components primed hulls, cork wads, gas seals, overshot cards and buffer.

got the roll crimper set up in the drill press

tests on the load was SMOOTH gets meat on both ends if you do not have a recoil reducer.
