Especially Season 1, the big and little problems that are being dealt with are not very unrealistic. The bigger problem is something to consider. And how the small town deals with a large influx of refugees from other towns, managing supplies, acquiring new supplies etc. Very entertaining at the least. ,,, available on Netflix

I'm still in shock the show was canceled. Very disappointing. Its been one of my favorite shows of all time.
THe story did seem to come to an abrupt end, they could have got another season out of it. Just like FireFly

I beleve that showing Texas as a Independent Country and having its own Airforce and Army was enough to scare "The Powers"

"lets not give them any Ideas"

LMAO..

Go for it Texas..I would head west!!

Unfortunately, this series only commanded a small audience but one that was very devoted. I think they knew the second season was going to be their last so the producers hustled to put together an ending for the fans. I know it was on the bubble for even getting renewed for a second season.

I really enjoyed the series and it sickens me that shows like this get so little love when garbage stays on for so long simply because it is cheap and easy. I call it The World According to Jim Syndrome after reading an interview where Jim Belushi admitted he was sort of embarrassed for getting paid to do this crap work, and how the whole cast and crew hurried to finish the last season just to get it in the can.

Ok, I know it's a dead thread, but just watched the NCIS: Los Angeles episode for 10-30-12. It has similiar underlying plot. It is a 2 parter and if missed it, might be able to catch it thru On Demand or whatever your cable/satellite provider offers. The only night I watch TV.
