    Hello from CNY

Thought I'd introduce myself, I joined this forum a while ago, but haven't been real active, despite the fact that I'm pretty active on a few other thru-hiking and bushcraft forums. Of all things, the one thing that got me started with preparedness was the BSA wilderness survival merit badge, which eventually evolved into what I have now I'm looking forward to being more active on this forum, everyone here seems pretty level-headed and polite, unlike a lot of other unnamed forums out there.
  4. Front and center, it would absolutely be kiwis. I love those.

    TV show, documentaries, and movies

Don't have a tv, but I try to catch up to stuff on Netflix. I'm a big fan of Breaking Bad, and like random stuff from NatGeo and History Channel.
  6. Alright, I will be the first to admit that I know NOTHING about CBs, but I recently inherited a Realist TRC-427, and I am quite curious to know what I need to do in order to get it set up off of a normal house electrical plug. I am fully aware of the limitations in terms of distance by mounting it in my house, but am pretty set on the idea. Any help is appreciated.

Video called ALONE IN THE WILDERNESS

It's one of my all-time favorite documentaries. Proenneke is something of a god to us in the bushcraft community.

    You Tube

Mines pretty good.... In all seriousness though, I like Wranglerstar, Walhandwerk, and Equip2Endure. They all seem like pretty down to earth guys, and put out some good information.

    Whats for dinner?

I'm sure my local Chinese joint has served pretty much everything mentioned in this thread in some form or another. I've given up ordering for anything, and just eat what I'm served.
