Ex military speaks about his past evils.

:mad:Watching this video is disturbing. Being a Combat Veteran also this angers me. I served with Air Borne Ranger battalions and regular Infantry units in several battles, combat zones for 20 years, and never shot anyone for a three day pass or for fun. What this man did was murder and he and his chain of command should be charged for this. That guy not only discourages himself, but the United States Marine Corps. As a retired professional soldier this sickens me. Yes returned the medals but indict him. Wilson

    Doomsday Preppers

In serving in the army, I think if World war III comes around us as civilians will not have to worry too much. Especially if you’re near a Military base, because after the warning the big explosion will begin. I think Prepping is a good idea but we can’t get carried away. I think being able to survive for ten days or so is a more real act, then surviving a nuke strike. What we as the little guy should worry about are storms like Sandy, IKE, Major tornado and ECT. In the last few years this prediction has come true. People not ready not caring to be ready. If you look at it, one can survive with 4-8 people and get passed the worst of times. So I use the KISS systems keep it simple and stupid. Weapons, Food, First Aid, and water, shelter. I have enough to last 10 good days and a good back up plain. During an envisions 11 people will not hold out a Motorize Rifle regiment, no madder how many rifle hand guns and ammo they have it’s not like red dawn.

7.62X54R: Common in a SHTF scenario or not?

The Molsin Nagant 91/30 is one of the best low cost survival rifles one can buy. cost of the rifle is under 140.00 and 440 rds of 7.52X54 is about 82.00 for surplus ammo. this means one can survive a while under andy situation that arrives. Range 400 + yards. one one round killing capabilite. more then plenty for self defense or 72 hrs bug out.
