DO NOT BUY from Forge Store!

First I've heard of them, but thanks for the heads up.
  2. So I thought I'd give the Yoders Canned Bacon a try. I don't normally eat bacon these days because, well, its not exactly health food. Still, its worth a go. The nutritional information may be found here. The following is an informal review. It comes in cans slightly larger than a standard Campbell's soup can: Once cracked, I found the bacon is wrapped in butcher's paper. There are two layers: Its slightly less thick than store bought and a lot less than the "thick" cut brands of bacon. It fried up fast: So, how did it taste? Good ... darn bacon good. In fact, it was hardly different than the bacon you'd pick up in the local super market. The only big negative I see is that its not real cheap. Emergency Essentials, for example, has it for $14.75 a can. There are about 50 slices per can. I suppose one could do some serious number crunching as to how much proteins and fats you get versus something else, but I haven't analysed it yet. At the end of the day, if you are a bacon fan, this might be something to stockpile. Personally, I can see putting some cans away, but will be focusing on other sources for large quantities. If I could find a similar product for much cheaper, though, I could see storing more. Hope this review helps y'all.

Around there parts, that is only slightly less than a new Glock.

Indeed, Yoders makes some tasty stuff.

    big boy,s hand gun?

Can't speak for them all, but the one I have has been great. I've had a GI type RIA since early 2007 and have had nary a hiccup after thousands of rounds. The only thing I didn't like is the standard sights, but my gunsmith took care of that.

    Crossbow

Indeed, the laws vary wildly. There is a breakdown here.
  7. Curious if anyone has played with the Century Arms International Sterling carbine? It looks like a handy little thing and the costs are minimal. Might make a good base carbine for a SBR project. Thanks for any info.

    The Real Zombies

The meth zombies I see around here are pretty bad during normal times. God help us if/when rule of law breaks down.

    Tea time

Oh yah. Black tea every morning, so stash a bunch of vacuum sealed bags of said.

    Warning Magazine amendment

Indeed. I've read on a number of news sources that it was defeated 52-46. Its finished for now.

    big boy,s hand gun?

I have always been a big fan of the M1911s in .45 ACP. Check out the Rock Island offerings. A lot of bang for the buck.

    Howdy. :)

I was doing some research on bug out vehicles and happened across this site. Looks like a lot of good material here. Anyway, just thought I'd stop and say howdy. Thanks.
