  1. There is so much to do when it comes to preparation. Theres so much to choose from, buy, test, adjust. It can sometimes easily overwhelm someone. I know during a end of times scenario or the simple blackout nationwide caused by solar flares and all hell breaks loose you'll want to make sure all your stuff is together and as safe and organized as best as possible. In my constant search to learn and better myself and my craft I came across guys who make BUG OUT WALKING STICKS - or - SURVIVAL WALKING STICKS. So it got me to thinking I needed something like this for my bag to hold some stuff I needed to stay dry and some small stuff I didnt want to have to worry about being randomly placed anywhere in my bag/bags. I know damn near everyone of you as savvy enough that I dont need to explain this step by step, but I know like myself there are people out there that want to have pictures and directions. To make it easier I guess. THE WATERPROOF CANISTER I went to the local hardware store and got 1 foot of 1 1/4 inch PVC PIPE. TWO MALE / FEMALE END CAPS I USED SOME PVC PIPE GLUE - A LITTLE GOES ALOMG WAY EVENLY PUT BOTH ENDS ON, MAKE SURE BOTH CAPS ARE PUT ON TILL IT HITS THE RIM ON THE INSIDE. LET BOTH ENDS DRY - PUT SOME PLUMBERS TEFLON TP THREADED CAPS TO ENDS ONCE GLUE IS DRIED INCASE SOME OVER SPILL WENT ONTO THE THE INSIDE THREADS, CAPS CAN BE UNSCREWED FROM THE MAIN UNIT WHEN YOU NEED TO PUT STUFF IN OR TAKE STUFF OUT. In my waterproof canisters I carry bandaids, cotton swabs, tweezers, mini scissors, needle nose tweezers. toothbrushes, some other random stuff. But you can make them for your personal stuff, passports, ID's, cash, social cards, credit card stuff. Im going to make another one just for batteries, and mini tools. It cost me around 3$
  2. When I started to prepare for our long term survival I didn't want to hunt blasting away anything with black powder. I didn't want to make any noise and let anyone close by know where I was or what I was doing. Noise like an AR going off can travel for miles. Even a .22 can be heard on the other side of the mountain. Shooting super small game on the go I get it. shot a rabbit in the head, by all means. I dont know whats going to happen. If shit hits the fan the Earths surface might be scorched and all the poor animals might be long gone. Who knows what game will be available for us to catch. What I started to eye tho was a bow. What a perfect silent deadly way to hunt. You can shoot animals out of the trees, you can hunt and kill anything with a bow. No one will hear you and that to me was important. So I started out at Gander Mountain. They threw me out when I told the sales guy I was preparing for the zombie apocalypse. He didn't me serious and didn't want to sell me a bow or any arrows. But I did find a local bow shop, where they taught me how to properly shot a bow and how to repair my bow. The good thing about arrow heads is you can sharpen them yourself. The bow is something I wouldn't be caught with out now that Im like Robin Hood!!!

Regulator - Do you use broadheads or mechanical heads? I would think broadheads are best because you can sharpen them yourself. Do you shoot with a cross bow at all? They shot at 175 pounds...! Some of them are sick. Im already married to my matthews.

    Hunting the quiet way!

I was never into hunting till I bought my bow. But now I have the urge to go hunting for something big. Bear or Caribou. Tuning a bow like the one I have requires some skill set. I haven't been taught how to do everything but I plan on learning. Like Regulator said I rather shop and spend time at a local shop, When I went to Gander mountain its a huge franchise to buy the bow, I told them why I wanted it, ( to prepare for end of times ) they wouldnt sell it to me. They didnt take me serious. Im going to check out Warriors posts. I want to try squirrel. Im a real NYC boy. We have plenty of squirrel.

    the surefire story.

Im a baby. I just want some Surefire torches. I just changed the batteries to them to make myself feel better about the light. I just dont like the black hole in the middle of the light stream! WTF is that?

    Weapon(s) of choice?

HA- Naw. I make them for my clothing company and sell them to bikers and people with money. LOL. I made them with a famous jeweler Gabriel Urist. Gold was too expensive to make it out of. But its heavy and badass and you can swing it and smash heads in with it.

    the surefire story.

Mr.Smashy - cool review. Its what made me regret ever buying streamlight. I have a few of them and they dont last. I go threw batteries over and over! Then I feel like its the bulb when its not, but its in my head it is... I let me kids play with them and they put it upside down and left it on and it started a fire burned a hole in the hardwood floors and made a scene in the house with the wife. Im buying myself a surefire for xmas. fuck that!!!
  25. Meddle - DId you take any scalps with the K-BAR? Delta - Is the Gerber and the Seal pup knives full tang. That SOG knife looks wicked nasty. I gotta get me a few of those key ulti-knife things you put the link up for. Never seen those before. Droptrd - Alot of swiss on that list. I had a Fallkniven I wish I knew where it was. Your idea for the glove compartment kits your making is a great idea man. I should have made some for xmas for people. I have 4 bags made for me, my girl and our two kids. My youngest is young, but he can carry alittle bag. I plan on getting the hell out of dodge with our B.O.V before we cant. But in the event we cant drive, We have Mountain bikes. Im building trailers to attach to the back of the mountain bikes to pull our bags and kids and dogs. Looking forward to your video on the kits.
