    What's in Your Pockets?

Just make sure you have someone there with you while you attempt to get out of zip ties cuffed behind your back in case you fail... learned that one the hard way...

    Reading "Lights Out"

It is a good book. Very eye opening in many aspects. It not only portrays the looting but also how the government (both local and federal) could react. No one is safe from looting/rioting when the SHTF. I liked how it was educational on many levels from security to gardening. It didn't go into a whole lot of details, but enough to give you ideas and make you want to research it more. The only downside is that they just seemed to be extremely lucky in many aspects. Great book. I liked it better than Patriots and One Second After.
  3. Is there a limit to the amount of people that can use the same frequency(even with CTCSS) and it not interfere with one another? I imagine it'll get to a point to where even though we can't hear anyone else, their transmissions will cause interruptions in ours? Also, does using CTCSS take up more battery power? I'm thinking that may be something to think and plan accordingly when the SHTF. I have never heard about this before, but I am interested, which is why I made an account just to ask these two questions.
