Yesterday I was burning the rest of the fallen leaves from the fall season last year, in my outdoor wood stove. Will be using the ashes to my garden & trees. Need to replenish the nutrients in the soil, which is needed for a healthy garden.

    The One Gun Solution

forget it. Noisy, single shot, lacking in range or penetration. It will get you killed by the first guy who hears you, has a rapidfire repeater and knows to use cover from 100m away. You'd be WAY ahead to just have a homemade silencer on a Marlin papoose takedown .22lr autorifle.

Well I just got a post flagged for the first time about Tommy Robinson LMAO you need to watch posting on Jordan Peterson, heis considered very controversial. I love watching him disassemble socialists social justice warriors and social tyrants, What I see now is the radicals are trying to get him to make a flub on video, just one is all they need. they viscously attack him threaten his family and that is how the radical social groups are, if you do not bow down to them. As in every socialist regime when they get into power they put people like Dr. Peterson against the wall and shoot them, because they are tyrants they cannot abide any other ideological sphere in their galaxy no idea can supplant their own, they will kill off their own family old friends and political enemies they are psychotic. I watched an Alex Jones video where a man struck the cameraman and a feminist get in the interviewers face and said with a smirk I didn't see anything and then used her chest pushing againt his and was taunting I didn't see anything. These people are deranged if you refuse to give into their demands, like ANTIFA they blocked a major hiway here one got hit by a car they don't care they have blocked ambulances and fire trucks started fires on private property the have no respect for anyone or anything and attack anyone counter to their ideals. There are so many great personalities out there, Candace Owen, Don Bongino, Lou Dobbs, Tucker Carlson, Deann Borelli, Micheal Savage, Jeaneen Pirro, Alex Jones, Hannity, Diamond & Silk, Laura Ingraham --- the list long and I do not always agree on specifics but, I support their stance on politics and social views 99% of the time.

I still think it would be quicker and easier to get used tennis or squash rackets from goodwill last time I was there they had a cart full those illegal big headed rackets should do ok.

Cams are nice to have, but we figured that a more simple type would be easy to re-string up if needed. I own 2 Bowtec compound bows with cams. They are a bit old now. Ones a Tribute model & the other is a Old Glory model. Bows with cams need a special machine tool to re-string up. I'm also into Japanese long bows as well. If your not " Physically Fit ", then your just Food for the Zombies.LOL. In GOD I Trust, Everyone else keep your hands where I can see them!

Jordan Peterson doesn’t have half a brain, but a full one, & then some. I like the way Jordan Peterson thinks. My personal opinion of Jordan Peterson report card would be ( A+ ).

How's the Weather in your area lately.

An armed society SHOULD be a more polite society. I think awards should be offered for shooting a felon caught in the process of committing a crime and wouldn't really be bothered by a law making gross rudeness a justifiable cause for use of lethal force. Pass those laws and soon Texas would be a very polite and friendly place. Like you I've lived all over Texas. I'm a true 5th generation Texican in that my Family was here before Texas was a nation or a part of the USA and were Mexican citizens at one point.. We lived in West Texas when I was little and the dust storms out there were very memorable. South of Dallas where I was born, as you say, the cracks in that black gumbo get wide enough to break a leg in. I was raised in the swamps around Beaumont and have been through the eye of three hurricanes. I've seen from 0 to 117 degree temps and watched a thermometer drop from 82 to 36 in about 15 minutes. THAT is how fast you can go from Indian Summer in the fall to the dead of winter. In the last 5 years I've seen drought that killed almost all of the pine trees around me and made fires a daily worry and event. I got up each morning and checked to see where the fires were around me. Thousands of acres burned. This year we have had floods almost continuously. The thing that is odd this year was that all three of the major metropoliton areas were flooding at the same time. Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Antonio/Austin, and the Houston/Galveston areas ALL flooding over and over. For those of you not familiar with Texas, it is a BIG place and these areas are not at all close together and generally are not all hit at the same time by weather patterns. Between floods I worked for a nice older gentleman and his wife they had been totally isolated for a little over a month. They live on a slight hill in a Riverside subdivision. The roads were three feet deep all around them. Boats only to get to them. They are now isolated again and have been for about another month. At least they aren't lonely. When you are on the only dry land in several thousand acres of flooded timber and pastures you get a lot of visitors. He said that one morning he looked out and there were just dozens of snakes on the cement of his car port. Bunnies and wood rats were running everywhere and you never knew what you might see chasing them. Texas weather has always been mercurial but the last five years have gone way over the top!!

A quick & easy way of making snowshoes in a pinch, is cutting a pine tree branch if they are in your area. Make sure the tree branch surface area is 2 1/2 to 3 times the surface area of the sole of your boots. You will need some type of cordage/rope to tie it with your boots & your good to go. It's not the best, but will help you walk on top of deep snow a lot better. Give it a try & happy trails.
